One of my favourite hotels is Disney’s Pop Century Resort. It’s a Value resort, and it’s themed like the 1950’s, 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s. It always starts Mom and Dad talking about “the good ol’ days”! There are usually hoola-hoops and other games set up in the lobby, and there is an arcade and a huge gift shop in the main building. There are 5 sections of rooms, each representing a different decade with their own unique giant icons. Make sure that you take a look around, as these icons have amazing detail. For example, there are giant Play Doh animals with giant finger prints on them, and there is a giant Big Wheel with a weight limit of 877 pounds! There is a cafeteria style restaurant in the main building, also. The restaurant is well themed, with cast members coming out every once and awhile to do ‘the hustle’ with the kids. There are multiple themed heated pools with scheduled games and activities. Take a close look at the shape of the pool as some are shaped like bowling pins, flowers, etc. If your traveling with younger kids and have some extra time, be sure to check out Goofy’s Splash Pad. This is such a fun resort and I’d highly reccommend it!
